Starting in Jan 2017, I am General Manager, Heyco Products Asia. Founded in 1926, Heyco Products designs and manufactures molded wire protection products, plastic fasteners, and molded components. Heyco Products' catalog leads the industry with the widest range of UL-certified, nylon components including liquid tight cordgrips, conduits, strain reliefs, bushings, plugs, etc.

The acquisition of Heyco Products in 2016 particularly exemplifies PennEngineering’s evolution with the launch of a new “Engineered Plastics” platform.  As a result, PennEngineering is uniquely qualified to offer an array of cost-effective solutions – whether for metal or plastic component assemblies – enabling customers worldwide to improve end-product quality and reduce total assembled costs.

For 5 years through Dec 2016, I was Director, Sales & Marketing, Greater China, for PennEngineering, a global pioneer for 75 years in the development and manufacture of precision fasteners and systems. I am responsible for general  management, new market development, key account sales & distributor relations, trade shows, and business analysis & reporting.

My earlier work with Dell is exemplary of my prior professional experience which is generously acknowledged by my client on the official Dell blog: I facilitated Dell’s development and implementation of a comprehensive, digital media capability which included digital media strategy; monitoring and rapid response of customer service issues; digital influencer relations; Direct2Dell, the company’s first corporate blog; Studio Dell, educational videos; IdeaStorm, an idea engine; and more. Today, Dell is considered a leader in the use of social media and recipient of multiple industry accolades.

My work with other major brands includes Boehringer Ingelheim, Darden Restaurants, Merck, Nike, Pioneer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Vignette. I have previously worked at WPP companies: Burson-Marsteller London, Cohn & Wolfe New York, and Cohn & Wolfe Texas. I have also served as General Manager, Business Development, of a SME in Singapore during which I successfully applied for a government technology grant to implement a company-wide SAP Business One ERP system integrated with an online ordering portal for key clients.

I enjoy doing my part in connecting people, skill sets and needs to facilitate positive change. I am active with social innovative causes including fair trade handicrafts, children advocacy, and conflict resolution programs. I currently serve on the Steering Committee of an international peacemaking non-profit which was nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.

I have lived, worked, and studied in Asia (Shanghai and Singapore), United States (California, New York, and Texas) and Europe (London). I am currently based in Shanghai and am a graduate of the University of Southern California.
